Nickolas I. Schulenberg
Associate Attorney

Nickolas I. Schulenberg is a Nashville native who earned a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville, graduating Summa Cum Laude and earning Phi Beta Kappa honor. He earned his J.D. from Belmont University College of Law, where he received the Bruin Scholarship and served as Associate Editor of the Criminal Law Journal. During law school, Nick interned with the Rutherford County District Attorney’s Office and gained experience at a small criminal defense and domestic law firm in Nashville.
Before joining Freeman & Fuson, he worked at a respected firm in Wilson County, protecting clients through an array of criminal challenges—from misdemeanors to felony-level charges. A member of both the Tennessee Bar Association and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Nick also enjoys supporting his community by rooting for the Tennessee Volunteers and Titans in his downtime.
